The THERAPIST Pro 2.5.042 Now Available
As well as patches for Aeris Basic and The THERAPIST EZ
Recent rule changes are requiring a second procedure code (G-code) to accompany certain procedure codes on claims. The second code in this case has no dollar amount. The zero dollar amount has been a problem for The THERAPIST Pro because because it is one of the selection criteria for services on claims. It was also indirectly a problem for The THERAPIST EZ and Aeris Basic because when there is a zero dollar amount, there is also a zero balance on the service. Ordinarily, zero balance services are excluded from claims but this can be overridden on the claim generation options. For all three of our programs, we have added a condition that zero balance services are filtered only if there is an fee amount entered for that service. For The THERAPIST Pro, we have removed the filter condition that required a non-zero Bill to Insurance amount.
The version and release numbers for Aeris Basic and The THERAPIST EZ were not changed as this is simply a patch. Other, more substantive, changes in The THERAPIST Pro make this release 42. You can download the update for your program from one of the links below.
